It's far from filled, but you can probably get an idea already of where I want to go even with this early version of the on the globe database. Suggestions of what else I can put in there are very welcome.

might I suggest using mediawiki? You'll find it a lot easier to organise in the long run...
I'll host it if you can't get hosting elsewhere.

Mediawiki would probably be a lost easier to maintain, yes. I found a list of free wiki hosts which I'll check up. (I'd like to keep expenses at 0.) By the way navitatl, I was thinking a bit of using some of the translations you posted in the translation forum, but ideally I'd check with the translators themselves to see that it's ok... would you happen to have a reference for who did what?

Garden, Whats the Justice, and Wanna be a Dreammaker were all translated by a personal aquantance of mine, so those are OK to use. Lost and Shift were both done by someone at Jpopsuki (my request thread is still on the first page of the translations forum, but its not loading now so I cant give you a link yet) Anytime smokin' cigarette I found on a google search, but that site is no longer up. (It is in my bookmarks as "globe lyric database") FACES PLACES was also found on a google search. Sorry I couldnt be of more help, but I'm fairly sure you could use all of them without worrying about trouble. By the way, I could help out with album scans. If you want to put those on the database, I can have the first 4 albums by later tonight EDIT: Here's my thread at jpopsuki. mullemeck.serveftp.org/jps_beta/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39557kakeochi_umai also translated Asian Night and EXPECTATION at my request (links near the bottom of that thread)

You'll have no way to cleanly backup your data (ie database dump), and if you exceed their limitations, you'll be forced to pay for their services or start from scratch. You might have to have advertising, and there's just no guarantees. I don't mind offering free hosting to you, I do it for a number of people as kind of public service as I have a lot of server capacity. You'll get database access, a decent amount of storage and no interference from me, although you may have to put up with the occasional reboot! Anyway, just a suggestion!

Yep, I have planned to make romaji lyrics for everything I have kanji for. It might take a while though...
